Big thank you to these September prevention partners:
Thank you to Jared Rogerson and members of the Suicide Prevention Task Force for hosting community campfires in both Big Piney and Pinedale. Thank you to the 60+ people who attended the events across the county to hear Jared’s new song “Side of the Road,” and to share their personal messages of hope, connection, and support.
Thank you to the 30+ first responders from Sublette, Sweetwater, and Lincoln Counties who attended the Winning the Battle First Responder Suicide Prevention Seminar on Sept. 23 in Pinedale.
The response to this training was overwhelmingly positive! We are very grateful to Clarke and Traci Paris of The Pain Behind the Badge organization for their dedication to the well being of first responders and their families. Thank you to the Fremont County Prevention Program for co-sponsoring this event.
Thank you to Dr. Rafael Hastey and Cori Wenz of the Sublette Hospital District for coming to Big Piney volleyball on 9/17 to share vape education, tobacco quit kits, gunlocks, mental health fund info, 988 fridge magnets, and drug disposal bags with the Big Piney community.
